United Methodist Women

The purpose of the United Methodist Women: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

National Mission Institutions

United Methodist Women members and groups are engaged in mission on a daily basis through their prayers, volunteer support and mission giving.

Your faith and hope are resulting in action on behalf of and with women, children and youth in local communities through the work of the National Mission Institutions. Nearly 100 National Mission Institutions in the United States supported by United Methodist Women’s giving are empowering women, caring for children, educating and building youth, looking after the neglected, advocating for social justice issues, creating economic opportunities and changing neighborhoods.

You are fulfilling God’s mission today!
