We believe that love in action can change the world. It’s time for the annual Prayer and Self-Denial Offering. As you “deny” yourself a candy bar, cup of latte, or some other treat, place the amount that it would it cost into an envelope marked for this offering. It will be collected in March and envelopes will be provided in Sunday bulletins. Please place your contribution in the offering plate or mail it to the church office at 925 Backus Street, Jackson, MI 49202. Your gifts will support programs for climate justice and will be put into action by United Women in Faith for those im-pacted by climate crises.

Coming in April will be the Bake-Less Bake Sale Offering with reminders and information in the church bulletins.

Pastor Jennifer will be the UWF speaker on April 18 Thursday, for “Missions Globally and Locally.” She will lead devotion time and share her mission experiences. Anyone wishing to attend an United Women in Faith meeting & lunch program at First UMC, please contact Kay.
