One of Calvary’s missions is to support our local elementary school – Bennett School. We are saving Box Tops for Education to help them purchase supplies and equipment for the school.
The Box Tops for Education program is changing — it’s going digital.
Eventually, instead of supporters clipping Box Tops coupons and physically providing them to a school (Calvary sends Box Tops to Bennett school), supporters will register online with Box Tops for Education, and then use the Box Tops for Education app to scan their purchase receipt to earn money for a school.
Traditional Box Tops coupons (they look like the artwork on the left below) are being phased out. In the interim, you might continue seeing them on products, and when you do, it is still OK to clip them and put them in the small box on the window ledge near the Calvary UMC office. Please be sure each clipped coupon has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date.
When you register online with Box Tops for Education, you will be able to choose Bennett School. When you buy products that have the new Box Tops for Education label (looks like the artwork on right below), that’s when you will use the app to scan your purchase receipt to earn money based on that purchase. The app will instantly add cash to Bennett School’s account, based on that scan. You must scan your purchase receipt to earn credit for products that have the new label; don’t clip the new label. (The app is available from the Apple or Google Play Store.)
Every valid Box Tops symbol (regardless of whether clipped or scanned) is worth 10 cents for Bennett School
