Prayers and Squares is an interfaith outreach ministry that combines the gift of a hand-tied quilt with the gift of prayers for someone in need. Each quilt is special because prayer is tied into each knot.It’s not about the quilt, it’s about the prayers.

If anyone in our congregation knows of any person in physical, emotional, spiritual or other difficulties who would accept a prayer quilt and benefit from being “covered in prayer”, please contact Marsha or any of the Prayers and Squares members, or Kim in the church office.

In addition to making prayer quilts, Prayers and Squares made placemats for Meals onWheels and mug rugs for our shut-ins.

Prayers and Squares meets at 1 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month, at Calvary UMC, meetings will resume Jan. 22. More participants are welcome. Please see Marsha for more information. We will be working of placemats for Meals on Wheels.
